The ideal candidate would reside within commuting distance to either our Brantford or Burlington office. However, based on our experience during the pandemic, we are allowing some employees to work fully or partially remotely (within Ontario).

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
– Manage full life cycle of reporting, including requirements analysis, solution design and development, testing, and business-user support
– Optimize database schemas, indexes, and stored procedures and maintain efficient database architecture
– Gather business requirements into detailed report specifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
– Post secondary education in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines (or suitable job experience in lieu)
– Required Technical Skills: Expert Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server including 5 years of experience
– Strong understanding of star schema data warehousing methodology and implementation
– Comfortable with use of Microsoft Office product suite
– Strong written & oral communication skills
– Excellent problem solving and team building skills
– Adaptable, able to learn new skills/technologies
– Strong troubleshooting skills
BONUS QUALIFICATIONS
– Conversion of snowflake to star schema designs
– Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
– Experience with ERP integration, especially SAP
– Experience Power BI & DAX (in a SQL environment) is an asset
– Strong skills in Windows based operating systems
